  • Turn off Windows Firewall.
  • Reinstall Google Drive.

How To Fix Google Drive keeps disconnecting in Windows 10:

Heed the instruction below and keep on trying all the provided methods one by one.

Check Your Connection:

Before we proceed to any other solution, this is the best workaround we can suggest you. Check your Internet connection, you can easily do this by opening a new website in another tab on the same connection. If your connection is down, then restart your Router and PC.

Disable Kaspersky Encrypted Connection Scan:

  • Open the Kaspersky software on your PC. Click on the Settings Icon located at the top right side of your screen.
  • You will be in the Settings Page. Here click on the Additional Tab -> Then Network.
  • In the Network Tab, Click on Scan encrypted connections option. Press OK to apply changes. Now Close the Windows.
  • Restart your PC.

Terminate Googledrivesunc.exe:

  • Right-Click on the Windows Taskbar and open Task Manager.
  • You will see the list of all the process running, scroll down and look for Googledrivesunc.exe.

  • Once you find the Googledrivesunc.exe, Right-Click on it and select EndTask.
  • Now re-launch the Google Drive Client again.

Restart the Google Drive Sync:

  • It’s easy to restart the Google Drive Sync. Open the Google Drive Sync and click on the three vertical dots at the top right side of the menu.
  • Select Quit Google Drive. Now you can reopen as you normally do.

Clear Your Browser Cache:

  • Open Chrome on your PC.
  • Click on the 3 vertical dots located at the top right side of the screen.
  • Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  • When you are in the Settings page, scroll down and click on the Advanced to expand the setting.
  • Again scroll down and click on the Clear browsing data.
  • Check all the three options and click on Clear Data.

Turn off Windows Firewall:

  • First, Press Windows + S and type firewall.
  • From the list select  Windows Defender Firewall.

  • Now click Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off.
  • Go with the Turn off Windows Defender Firewall (not recommended).
  • Click Ok to Apply changes.

Reinstall Google Drive:

If none of the above solutions worked for you then you left with one option. You need to Reinstall Google Drive. Heed the instructions below to do so.

  • Quit Google Drive if still, it is running in the background.
  • Now uninstall it as you normally uninstall any software through the control panel.
  • Download the latest version of Google Drive for your PC and Install it.
